She studied Technical Arts and Special Effects with a minor in Stop Motion Animation at The University of the Arts in London.\u003cbr\u003eViolet had previously worked in prop making studios for commercial projects and events before meeting Devin Townsend at Bloodstock Festival 2010. Being a fan of Devin's work since her teenage years Violet took the opportunity to show him her work and (jokingly) offered her services. A year later Devin proposed they work together on a project. The now famous 5 foot wide cheeseburger that was suspended above the stage during the Deconstruction set of the sold-out By a Thread shows in 2011. Whilst working on this for Devin is when Violet first met Devin Tour Manager, Paul Collis.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eViolet was tasked next with The Retinal Circus. Leading a small, very, dedicated team, Infrared FX created the Ziltoidian baby, the Ziltoid costume, countless choir costumes and the infamous ‘big green vagina’.
